Hey Phoenix dancers! Vitality In Motion is newly expanding to Arizona and are looking to build our talented, compassionate, loving and dynamic group of dancers for our senior chair dance program. Vitality In Motion is an innovative "dance studio on wheels" specializing in senior adaptive & inclusive dance for seniors in senior living communities as a valuable form of exercise to help them live a happier and healthier life. We are hiring 1-2 instructors to join our team of incredible artists for year-round steady daytime teaching, who have a strong background in dance- especially ballet. This particular job is for dancers in and around the immediate Glendale area to service facilities in that area.

Adaptive dance professional development is included in this opportunity, and truly helps to make you an even more effective dance instructor for all ages.

Classes with us take place during the daytime only giving you back your nights or weekends for YOU (or teaching at a studio). Classes are in short morning and afternoon windows directly at our senior living communities that you drive to based on the location you are joining us from in the Phoenix metro area. Most instructors teach between 4 to 10 classes per week.

You must be comfortable working with senior citizens and leading a dance class. The classes will be done mostly from a chair. Personality is key! You must be upbeat, friendly, articulate, reliable, organized and professional. You must have reliable transportation. You must have 5 years of ballet training, and be extremely comfortable with the ballet terminology. Bonus if you're also familiar with basic biology and kinesiology (not required), or bring a background in fitness, yoga, pilates.
